Campfire Guitar Bootcamp 101 Guitar Class for Adults

Students enrolled in Campfire Guitar Bootcamp 101 learn to play a varied selection of songs in a relaxed group setting. Students are given basic instruction on how to approach accompaniment and soloing. Songs are written out in an easy to understand format to afford greater expression and to move through more material. Variations are included on how to expand those techniques to ensure students have the opportunity to meet their personal goals. The song list is largely compiled from student input and is different every semester.

- Open Position Chords
- Barre Chords
- Upper Position Chords
- Singing while Playing
- Basic Lead Technique
- Arrangement
Although this class is guitar based, all acoustic instruments are welcome. No experience is necessary for guitarists, but basic technique will be helpful. For other instruments, reading standard notation and basic technique is required. Enrollees will be required to have their own instrument and a capo (for guitarists)
