Aleksandra Danicic

Aleksandra Danicic, grew up in Germany, where her principal violin teachers were Sylvia Reichardt and Eberhard Klemmstein at the Erlanger Musikinstitut. She continued her classical violin studies in Canada with Bill van der Sloot and Dr. Lise Elson. Aleksandra was on faculty at Medicine Hat College from 1993-1998 and at Calgary’s MRU conservatory from 1998-2018. She also worked as the coordinator, principal teacher and chamber music coach of the Junior, Intermediate and Associate violin classes in MRU’s Academy Program for 12 years. Aleksandra loves music in all its variety and performs regularly. She values the pursuit of excellence and joy in learning, and the ability to experience progress at any age. Her teaching approach is practical and nurturing.
