Anita has spent the last thirty years in the field of music education as an elementary music specialist, choral conductor, and workshop clinician. Anita has advanced certificates in both the Kodály and Orff philosophies and a Master of Music Education (University of Alberta) from which she gained a deeper understanding of early childhood development and music education theories and practice.

Currently, Anita is the music director of Calgary Classical Scholé and an Early Childhood and Kodály instructor at Mount Royal Conservatory. Anita is delighted to be joining the faculty of Asylum for Art!
