Since 2016, Redline Trio has been featured weekly at Betty Lou\u2019s Library, an award-winning speakeasy in downtown Calgary. They have presented concerts at the National Music Centre (King Eddy), cSPACE, artsPlace (Canmore) , and the Ironwood stage and grill. They have featured various renowned guest artists, including Juno-winners Brandi Disterheft, Brad Turner and David Braid, New York pianist Steve Hudson, renowned poets Shari-D Wilson and Quincy Troupe, as well as vocalists Allison Lynch, Aimee-Jo Benoit, and Kate Melvina.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Redline Trio recorded their debut cd at the Banff Centre for the Arts featuring guest NY pianist Steve Hudson, garnering two 2020 YYC Music Awards nominations;&nbsp;Best jazz recording&nbsp;and&nbsp;Group of the year.&nbsp;Redline Trio has been featured in the JazzYYC All-Canadian Jazz Festival, Theatre 1308 Bright Side Festival, and has future invitations to perform at Havana Jazz Plaza, and the Medicine Hat and Edmonton International Jazz Festivals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Without a doubt one of the most versatile, exciting and homegrown jazz trios in Calgary. Their own music will pluck into your very jazz heart and it will keep you asking for encores. A must see, experience and hear over and over again. It is a joy to see this group perform and interact on stage, their magic is indescribably present in every show.
