She was the 2019 recipient of the \u201cStingray Classical Artist in Residency\u201d at National Music Centre and 2016 recipient of Canada\u2019s \u201cJuno\u201d music award micro grant. Since finishing school in Germany and moving to Calgary in 2014, Jiajia has forged her identity through music and performance, cutting across a wide range of modern musical experimentations and traditions. Tapping into contemporary music, improvisation and electronic music, Jiajia\u2019s performances have run the gamut from concert hall appearances with the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra to improvised shows with the experimental concert series Bug Incision. Jiajia has appeared in festivals including Sled Island, Calgary New Music Festival, and The Works Festival.Multi-instrumentalist, composer, music director, and educator&nbsp;<strong>Darren Young<\/strong>&nbsp;is an exciting artist with a diverse palette. His music spans a wide array of genres,&nbsp;including classical, post rock, prog, shoegaze, electronic, noise, and jazz.
