As international touring artists and award-winning songwriters, co-members Joal and Lauren Kamps have enjoyed performing music festivals, concert series, showcases, house concerts, and other community events in North America, Western Europe, and the United Kingdom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Based in Calgary, AB the Kamps blend storytelling, songwriting, and humour to create charming \u2018Rocky Mountain Folk-Pop\u2019 songs inspired by Canadian history, rocky mountain folklore, and their own personal journeys. Their original compositions are filled with vivid lyrical imagery, delicate vocal harmonies, and classical guitar\/piano interplay \u2013 and their honest and engaging approach to live performance authentically connects with listeners of all ages and backgrounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Liz<\/strong>&nbsp;is an Alberta-based Pop\/Country Artist influenced by artists such as Kacey Musgraves, Taylor Swift and Fleetwood Mac.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Her new single, \u201cI Really Like You\u201d (July 2021), is a cotton candy pop bop with conversational lyrics and synth elements from the \u201880s. \u201cThis is a song about catching feelings for someone.\u201d says Liz. \u201cIt wrote itself in 40 minutes one night and means the world to me.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI Really Like You\u201d was produced by Mark Troyer at Evergreen Sound (Calgary, AB).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Liz\u2019s previous singles, \u201cSummertime\u201d (2020) and \u201cDifferent Shoulders\u201d (2020) embodied a rootsy, storyteller vibe.
