Laurene Palmiere, a Calgary singer/songwriter, is celebrating the release of her second album “the Gold” with the support of her band the Combiners. A follow up to Laurene’s 2012 Album “Give it Time”, “the Gold” is an intimate collection of songs written by Laurene in the last 10 years. The show takes you on a listening journey of storytelling, harmonies, and candid humour.
Laurene is grateful to be joined by bandmates Michelle Baker (vocals, guitar), Rob Loree (vocals, guitar) and Joni Brent-Clarke (bass). The Combiners also play original music written by Rob Loree, and a cool variety of cover songs you may not have heard of, stamped with their own style and magical harmonies.
