The Show…

Vancouver based singer-songwriter recording artist, Norine Braun released her 13th album, the groove oriented Songs For Trees in 2022. Thanks to a Canada Council For the Arts Award and a First Peoples’ Cultural Council Award, Norine set her musings during the ongoing pandemic to focus on climate change and the healing power of trees. Norine has created a transformational musical walk through a west coast forest to help enlighten and inspire. Described as bluesy roots rock, groove oriented eclectic, emotional and heartfelt originals. The Vancouver Sun Stuart Derdeyn names it as one of 5 albums you need to hear! Norine is set to release her 14th album May 24, 2024 thanks to a First Peoples’ Cultural Council Award. The new album explores her journey as an adoptee and her recent connection with her Metis heritage with a groove based chill soul vibe along with some bluesy and rootsy twists.  Norine’s partner Alice Fraser ARCT accompanies on keys and harmony vocals.
