The Sahil Chugh Quartet is a group from Edmonton, Alberta focusing on performing original music influenced by artists like Aaron Parks, Tigran Hamasyan, and the tradition of Indian classical and folk music. The trio has had the opportunity to perform extensively in the city of Edmonton including a year long residence performing monthly at the naked cyber cafe, often featuring special guests, they have also had the opportunity to perform at the acclaimed venue the Yardbird suite a few times. With a strong focus on collective improvisation, intricate rhythms and catchy melodies and riffs, each song tells a story in its own unique way. Sahil Chugh is excited to release his debut album in the fall of 2022.
