Campers will break down the Elements of Art composition by exploring each one with creative prompts in their art journal. Concepts include: shape, space, texture, form, color, line, and value. Campers will also work with the Principles of Design including: contrast, balance, emphasis, proportion, hierarchy, repetition, rhythm, pattern, white space, movement, variety, and unity. Campers will develop their understanding through exercises in their art journal and culminating in a large project that will be displayed in the Camp Gallery.

On the last day of camp,  please take all your campers’ pieces home with you upon dismissal as anything that remains will be discarded at the end of the day.
