Theatre for Imagination

Children have a natural inclination to imagine themselves inside their favourite movie or show. This program gives them the opportunity to step into the Theatre of Imagination. With guidance from working professionals they can become Kristoff, Moana, Gaston, Maribel, or anyone their hearts fixate on. This program will help your child develop their singing voice, confidence, and physical co-ordination. This class will focus on the basics of introducing movement to song, the concept of adopting a character, and interacting with a peer for a scene. This 5 day camp will be divided between singing, acting, and choreography with a performance to cap the week.

Family Yoga (2 - 10 yrs + parents)

Yoga helps to enhance body awareness and build strength and flexibility. Yoga has positive benefits on everyone regardless of their natural physical capabilities. “Yoga is a fun way for children to develop a variety of important skills in a nurturing, non-competitive environment.” (Rainbow Kids Yoga)
Yoga has many positive health benefits such stress and tension reduction, improved digestion, better body alignment and posture, increased focus, deeper breathing, and learning to be more centred and feel a deeper calm. Yoga can play an important role in developing the physical, emotional and cognitive sense of being. This family yoga class is designed for a fun and engaging active play time with music, stories, and games.

Stop Motion/Animation for KIDS! (7 - 12 yrs)

Kids have fun with lego, playdough and video! We bring them all together in to this super fun class.
The participants will learn the process of making a short animation film made from lego or playdough using stop motion techniques the same as all the new lego movies, The Nightmare Before Christmas and other films that you may not think of, such as the special effects from the original Star Wars series.
Class will include:
- story structure
- Scripwritting
- character creation
- Shooting a stop motion video
- Post production on premiere
